Enhanced Hawkers Training Programme


Course Objective

To equip participants with knowledge and understanding on:

» Maintaining professional appearance & attitude while serving customers
» Providing quality service
» Maintaining professional displays
» Maintaining hygiene and safety while preparing food

and effectively apply them at their workplace.


Course Outline

Upon successful completion of this programme, participants will be awarded with the following statement of attainments by WDA :

1. WSQ - Interact with Guests
2. WSQ - Maintain Display
3. WSQ - Follow Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures


Who Should Attend

All individually licenced food stall holders / Foodshop licensees & their helpers from Hawker Centres, Coffee Shops, School Canteens, Street Hawkers, Army Camps & Food Courts.


Pre-Requisite and Admission Criteria

No formal qualifications are required for admission to this course

3 full days (24 hrs including Training and Assessment)

$45.00 (after 90% Enhanced Hawkers Funding Assistance by WDA)


WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR FUNDING

All individually licenced food stall holders / Foodshop licensees & their helpers (Singaporean/PR) from Hawker Centres, Coffee Shops, School Canteens, Street Hawkers, Army Camps & Food Courts.

Documents required (Photocopies) :

» Stall licence
» NRIC (front and back) of Stall Licencee
» Declaration signed by Stall Licencee confirming that the trainee(s) is/are employed by the Stall Licencee
» NRIC (front and back) of trainee(s)

Refund Policy

If notice of withdrawal is given to Eduquest International Pte. Ltd. in writing :
- 2 weeks or more before commencement → Full refund
- Less than 2 weeks before commencement → 75% refund
- After commencement / No show → No refund
